Power washing

Power Washing in North & Central New Jersey

Soft-wash siding, pressure-wash concrete. The right pressure for the right surface, every time.

Done the right way

Pressure isn't the point. The right pressure for the right surface is.

Most of the siding damage we get called to fix started with a rented pressure washer aimed too close, at too high a setting. Vinyl siding driven with water behind it, wood fibers torn up, paint stripped off in patches. Siding and roofing get a soft wash: low pressure, a cleaning solution that kills mold, algae, and mildew at the root, then a gentle rinse. Concrete, brick, and pavers can take real pressure, so driveways, walkways, and patios get a stronger wash that actually lifts embedded dirt and stains.

This is often the first step in our exterior painting process, paint won't adhere to a chalky, mildewed surface, so we wash before we ever open a can. But it stands on its own too, plenty of homeowners just want the house, the driveway, and the deck looking clean again without a painting project attached.

How we do it

Our power washing process.

Assess, Protect, Wash, Rinse, Inspect

01
Walk the Property
We check every surface for mold, algae, loose paint, and anything delicate, deciding which areas need a soft wash and which can take real pressure before we ever turn on the machine.
02
Protect What Matters
Plants covered or moved, windows and doors checked, outdoor electrical protected. We flag anything runoff might affect before water starts moving.
03
Soft Wash Siding & Roof
A low-pressure cleaning solution kills mold, algae, and mildew at the root, then rinses clean at low pressure so water never gets driven behind siding or panels.
04
Pressure Wash Hard Surfaces
Driveways, walkways, patios, and pool decks get a stronger wash safe for concrete, pavers, and brick, lifting embedded dirt and staining that a soft wash won't touch.
05
Rinse, Detail & Walkthrough
Edges, corners, and hard-to-reach areas rinsed clean. We walk the property with you before calling it done.

Common questions

Power washing questions.

Not when it's done correctly. Damage happens when high pressure gets aimed directly at siding or shingles. That's exactly why we soft-wash those surfaces, low pressure plus the right cleaning solution, and save real pressure for concrete and pavers that can actually take it.
Once a year is typical for most homes. Properties with heavy tree cover or shaded, north-facing walls grow algae faster and may want it twice a year. We'll give you an honest read on your specific property.
Yes, always. It's the first step in our exterior painting process, already included if you're having us paint. Paint won't bond to a chalky or mildewed surface, so this isn't optional, it's just sometimes invisible because it's bundled in.
Soft wash only, never high pressure, which can strip shingle granules and void a roofing warranty. Soft washing removes the black algae streaking safely and is the method most shingle manufacturers actually recommend.
