Exterior Painting in North & Central New Jersey
New Jersey freeze-thaw cycles and summer humidity destroy shortcut paint jobs. Ours are built to go eight to ten years.
The Sterling standard
Built for New Jersey weather, not just for the photo.
Exterior paint in New Jersey has a hard life. Winter freeze-thaw cycles pump moisture in and out of siding, summer humidity slows curing, and UV bakes south-facing walls. A job that skipped scraping and priming will peel in two or three seasons. One done right, with sound prep and a premium coating like Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior, can hold up eight to ten years. That gap is entirely about process.
Ours starts with a full pressure wash to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking. We scrape all loose and peeling paint, sand and feather the edges, spot-prime every inch of bare wood and metal with the right primer, and caulk the gaps around windows, doors, and trim where water gets in. Only then do the finish coats go on, and only in the right conditions: 50 degrees Fahrenheit and rising, dry surfaces, and a dry weather window ahead. We will not coat wet wood to hit a schedule.
You get a written proposal within 48 hours that specifies the exact products, the prep scope, and the price, all backed by our 2-year written workmanship warranty. Veteran-owned and painting New Jersey homes since 1998, we would rather take the extra prep day than see you repaint in three years.
